The ban on the display of non-state flags by US institutions abroad, including the LGBT flag (the International LGBT Public Movement is recognized as extremist and terrorist, banned in the Russian Federation), has put the countries of the European Union in an awkward position. This was noted by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in her Telegram channel.
