On December 1, the deadline recommended for regions to transfer information to the Federal State Information System (FGIS) "Taxi" expired.
As of December 1, 2023, there are 446.5 thousand vehicles, 73.8 thousand carriers and 933 taxi services in the system. At the same time, the total number of issued permits at the beginning of 2023, according to various estimates, ranged from 300 thousand to 400 thousand.
"Before the launch of the FGIS ivory coast whatsapp number database "Taxi", there was no precise information on the volume of the taxi market, either by country or by region. All data before September 1, 2023, which were encountered, including in media materials, were expert estimates. Industry professionals made them based on various data. Based on them, we expected that 350 thousand records of taxi vehicles should be entered into the register. However, as the FGIS "Taxi" data show, in reality there are already 446.5 thousand," commented Dmitry Gorshkov, Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "SIC of the Ministry of Transport of Russia".

In Russia, the FGIS taxi will start operating on September 1. This will happen if the Russian government approves the draft resolution "On approval of the regulation on the federal state information system of passenger taxis", developed by the Ministry of Transport.
The information in the FGIS "Taxi" is constantly updated: information about expired permits is archived, and information about new ones appears in the system daily. Responsibility for the transfer, relevance and reliability of the data lies with the regional authorities that issue permits for work in taxis.
"The number of records in the FGIS "Taxi" is not a constant value. It can change up or down. The only regulators of the number of taxis are the market and user demand. The system contains data only on valid permits. Accordingly, if a permit expires, the record about it is deleted. Information about newly issued permits is entered," a representative of the press service of the FGBU "SIC of the Ministry of Transport of Russia" confirmed to a ComNews correspondent.
The press service representative also called the launch of the Taxi FGIS a positive trend: "This is an important step in the transition to a data-based management paradigm. We developed the system in close cooperation with the regions. Its launch was preceded by a test period. It allowed us to initially take into account many of the users' wishes. Therefore, we did not identify any negative trends. Of course, we continue to collect feedback from users. Taxi FGIS will continue to improve."
Representatives of taxi ordering services "Yandex Go", "Citymobil", "Maxim", "Arbat", "Taksovichkof" did not answer questions from a ComNews correspondent.
