A digital map of dangerous places of stay for minors will be created in Novosibirsk Oblast. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Digital Development.

At the initial stage, the map will display bodies of water, abandoned and unfinished buildings, railway crossings, bridges, power plants, and other man-made objects. If necessary, the register will be expanded," emphasized Sergey Tsukar.

Access to the system will be available to specialists from executive authorities, district administrations, the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Novosibirsk Region, and the West Siberian Railway.

In addition, due to the increase in the number of drownings in 2023, including on unofficial beaches, a separate functional module for monitoring the safety status of water bodies will be developed in the regional platform. The solution will help the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region in preventing incidents on the water, patrolling, organizing the work of beaches and promptly responding to emergencies. The plans include launching the service in the second half of the year, at the height of the summer holidays and swimming season.
