By digital transformation, experts mean the introduction

Post by tanjimajuha20 »

The main trends in digitalization of the healthcare sector were discussed by industry experts during the conference "Healthcare Trends 2024: What to Expect and Who to Invest in 2023". Among them are digital transformation, personalized medicine, biotechnology, preventive medicine and home clinics.

of medical information systems (MIS) and the digitalization of medical institutions. As for personalized medicine, this trend, according to them, will develop not only in Russia, but also abroad. Biotechnology will continue to steadily gain momentum. In 2025, large-scale implementation of personal medical assistants will begin.

Director of the Institute of croatia whatsapp number database Innovative Development of Prototype LLC Petr Kshnyakin spoke about the important role of MIS - document management automation systems for medical institutions: "MIS is a huge, expanding integrator of everything and everyone in medicine. If initially this was a story related to submitting a report to the Ministry of Health and maintaining patient records, now many MIS integrate various services for citizens - applications for chronic diseases, wearable devices, home and mobile diagnostic devices. This is a kind of assembly point in the region that will unite all software used in medicine. We are coming to a situation where any software implemented in the regions must be integrated into MIS."

Artificial intelligence (AI) will also be actively penetrating the healthcare sector in 2024. Experts identify five trends in this area: autonomous AI (processing basic functions without the participation of a doctor); multi-complex AI, which combines several functions in one service, including pathology search, forecasts and other areas of clinical care; "radiation" AI for non-radiologists (assistance to clinicians in the absence of radiologists); stable and safe AI (special attention to post-registration monitoring and clinical trials); government support for "radiation" AI (insurance rates, implementation in regions, payment from government funds).

An expert in the field of telemedicine, familiar with the situation on the market, recalled the state support for the introduction of AI in the industry: "By the end of 2024, the task is to introduce at least three medical products with AI in each region of Russia. Some companies have already received permission to conduct clinical trials, which must be completed without fail. 16% of healthcare organizations have already fully implemented AI-based solutions, 34% plan to do so in the near future. Also, by 2025, the state will launch a new federal project "Digital Healthcare Services", the financing of which has been instructed to be considered by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance."

Sergey Gaivoronsky, Investment Director of the Kama Flow venture fund, spoke about investments in industry projects: "The success of investments in digital healthcare in Russia in the medium term can be ensured by the synergy of technological solutions and priority support programs. There is a program called "Personal Medical Assistants" that invests in the constant presence of a patient under monitoring and analytics at any time of the day. The pilot of this project is ongoing, at the first stage the state invested 600 million rubles. Another project concerns the upgrade of rehabilitation equipment. At the beginning of 2023, the Russian government launched it in 43 medical organizations. The state has already invested 8 billion rubles in this area, and will additionally allocate another 1.7 billion ruble
