"Gosuslugi" also invited people to the "Games of the Future". These are competitions that combine physical sports and eSports, they ended in early March. And, as it turned out, not everyone knew about them. Gamers and bloggers on social networks complain that they learned about the games only after the opening. In particular, the editor-in-chief of the iXBT.games portal Vitaly Kazunov complained about the lack of information. However, he lives in Minsk, so the "Gosuslugi" newsletter probably did not reach him.

There was enough advertising for the Games of the Future on television, but Gosuslugi is hardly a suitable platform for this, says Vladimir Lednev, Vice President of Synergy University and Head of the Sports Management Department: Gosuslugi is a government tool for disseminating information. Gosuslugi is used to either provide personal information or provide information to residents so that they simply know what they can do and how they can act. Therefore, in my opinion, advertising through Gosuslugi, even though the Games of the Future tournament is wonderful, seems to me to be too much. In terms of advertising information that was associated with the games before they took place, during the tournament and after, it is always very difficult to assess whether it was a lot or a little, because you need to proceed from what each person uses. If, for example, people watch TV (and I watched TV), there was a lot of information about the games, there were competitions, there were interviews. This information was enough for me, but perhaps young people, who watch TV less often, did not have enough information that was spread by bloggers and gamers on social networks."

As Business FM's sources note, the FAS could well have assessed the messages from "Gosuslugi" as social advertising. It does not require additional consent from the recipient of the mailing. The courts usually listen to the service's position, lawyers say. The Moscow Arbitration Court has not yet explained its decision on "Gosuslugi" and "Battle of Robots", the document will be published on the portal later.

At the user level, the problem of unnecessary mailings is solved in an elementary way. At the bottom of each such letter from "Gosuslugi" there is a button "unsubscribe from mailing". And the user will not receive any more news about the "Battle of the Robots". But messages about fines or, for example, the readiness of documents will continue to arrive regularly.
