The number of Whoosh kicksharing trips in the first five months of 2024 increased by 54% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 40.3 million. The number of trips per active user (a user who made at least one trip on Whoosh transport during the period) increased by 34% over the year and amounted to 11.2 trips.

The service registered 23.3 million accounts; a year ago, there were 15 million — a 55% increase. At the end of May 2024, the service was available in 150 cities.

More than 85% of trips on MTS Yurent scooters are made according to the transport scenario - that is, they are used not for walking, but for trips to work, the gym, home, public transport stops and the metro.

Most often, in the MTS Yurent service, electric scooters were chosen by users aged 25 to 34 (more than 35%). "At the same time, we are seeing a rapid growth in the audience of 35 to 44 years in the total volume of trips," noted a representative of the press service of MTS Yurent.

He also said that kicksharing operators have tightened the liability of users for non-compliance with traffic rules and other service rules: "The MTS Yurent service analyzed the most frequent traffic violations and increased fines for the most serious of them, including for driving while intoxicated, accidents due to the user's fault, more than one person riding a scooter, and not hurrying at a pedestrian crossing. Tightening fines is aimed at improving the safety of all road users and the culture of driving electric scooters. Fines are in effect in all 150 cities where the service is present."

Since May 27, 2024, MTS Yurent service fines for major violations have increased several times. New sanctions:

- Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs — a fine of 100,000 rubles and a lifetime ban from the app (previously — a 14-day ban).
- Use of electric scooters by minors: handing over control to a child — a fine of 10,000 rubles and a lifetime ban; operating a scooter by a person under 18 — a ban in the app (previously — a ban).
- Two or more people riding an electric scooter — a fine of five thousand rubles (previously — a fine of 800 rubles).
- Slow movement on a pedestrian crossing — a fine of 1,000 rubles (previously — a warning, and for a repeat violation — a ban for up to 1 month).
- Illegal parking — a fine of 500 rubles (previously — a fine of 500 rubles, for a repeat violation — a fine of 1,000 rubles).
- An accident due to the fault of the user causing harm to the health of third parties — a fine of up to 100,000 rubles. and a lifetime ban in the app (previously — a 1-month ban).
- An accident caused by the user with damage to property — a ban in the app for the season (previously — a 1-month ban).
- An accident caused by the user with damage to infrastructure — a ban in the app for the season (previously — a 14-day ban).
