The territory of the Tula Waste Management Enterprise includes a waste sorting shop with an optical vision section with flexible artificial intelligence for selecting useful fractions, a hydroseparation section (separation of MSW using water and air flows into 3 fractions - polymeric materials, food romania whatsapp resourcewaste, glass) and a contactless polymer splitting shop (chemical decomposition by heating without oxygen access using low-temperature pyrolysis technology). The complex is fully automated and equipped with a waste chain dispatching and management system. A face and object recognition system is implemented here using neural networks and video analytics.
The unique equipment of the complex will allow processing 480 thousand tons of solid municipal waste per year, of which 60% will be extracted in the form of secondary material resources with the subsequent possibility of their reuse as commercial products directly or after additional processing. Thanks to this, the maximum amount of useful materials will be returned to industrial circulation, the overall pollution of the environment will be reduced, and the area of landfills will be reduced.
"The Charter Company is purposefully making investment efforts in the waste processing industry in order to create a multiplier effect for the development of the economy and social sphere of the regions. The creation and subsequent replication of innovative KPO technologies in the regions will allow the creation of a unique system for deep processing of MSW, as well as increasing the efficiency of Charter by optimizing technological processes. This gives the right to put the company on a par with the drivers of economic development from the oil and gas sector, retail and the pharmaceutical industry," said Alexey Kurtishvili, Executive Director of Charter LLC.
"The financing of the Tula Ecotechnopark project in the amount of over 3.2 billion rubles was carried out by Sberbank in the interests of implementing the national project "Ecology" and within the framework of long-term cooperation with the company "Khartia" in the field of developing the solid municipal waste management industry and expanding the waste processing infrastructure. We have a common goal - to reduce the negative impact on the environment and move to rational use of natural resources. I am convinced that the implementation of this project and our further cooperation will help achieve the goals of the national project "Ecology" for the benefit of our country and its residents," commented Vyacheslav Tsybulnikov, Vice President of Sberbank - Chairman of the Moscow Bank.
The uniqueness of the new waste processing plant is that much of the equipment used at the complex is produced by the Charter company itself on the territory of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. Thus, the task of import substitution is being fulfilled. For now, the company produces the necessary components only for its own needs at the waste processing plant in Tula, but in the future – after the completion of construction and testing of all capacities at the facility – the equipment will be presented on the Russian market for possible acquisition for use at other waste processing complexes.
The waste processing complex in Tula is one of the largest and most high-tech complexes in Russia. Operation of the enterprise will create more than 500 new jobs, stimulate economic growth in the region and achieve the declared indicators of the national project "Ecology".
