Myths about digital marketing
Myth #1: Businesses need a Facebook page
While it is true that Facebook remains the social network par excellence, businesses must take into account that people do not use this page with the purpose of looking for a business, people enter to consult publications, see and upload photos, and interact with friends and family, creating a very personal social environment where companies are not a priority nor an indispensable part of said atmosphere.

The above does not mean that companies should not open a Facebook page (or close it), however it is clear that keeping that page very active should not be the priority, since large resources would be invested in something that is not a priority within the digital marketing campaign, such as the company's own website.

Myth #2: Email marketing is obsolete
Taking this fact for granted would be a serious mistake, especially if we take peru phone number into account that there are more people with email accounts than people with Facebook accounts (in the US, 91% of the population has an email, while only 71% has a Facebook account). In addition to this, an email tends to be more effective than a tweet or a post in terms of sales promotion.

However, businesses must understand that email is something very personal for each individual, so caution must be taken when using email marketing to avoid invading that personal space or falling into spam with constant emails to the user, which far from interesting the recipient, may end up annoying them and alienating them.

Myth #3: A successful social media campaign is one with lots of clicks
