The restrictions during COVID-19 in Russia have shown that many work processes can be optimized and simplified using digital technologies. For example, face-to-face meetings in an office "meeting room" have turned into Zoom conferences, and paperwork has been replaced by electronic signatures (ES) and electronic document benin whatsapp phone number management systems (EDM).

What is EDI, EP and their operating principles
Electronic document management , or EDM for short, allows legal entities and individuals to exchange electronic documents online. To sign a contract with counterparties, you do not need to print it out, send it by courier or mail, and wait several days to receive a copy with the signature of the other party. Documents in electronic format are already considered a legally significant original, as they are certified by an electronic signature (ES).

EDI appeared in Russia back in the 90s, but the system began to be widely used only after 2010. This was facilitated by the adoption of Federal Law No. 63-FZ "On Electronic Signature" , which regulates the use of EP and the operation of EDI. After all, it is the electronic signature that underlies electronic document management.
