A drop in traffic in Analytics at a given time does not necessarily mean that our site has been penalized. However, we must ensure that traffic is not reduced for another reason: such as Christmas, Easter and Summer holidays, or seasonality.

Steps to find out if there has been an algorithmic penalty:

presentation_3Analyze Analytics traffic and compare to the same period last year
With the Panguin Tool you can check if there have been any algorithm updates that coincide with your traffic drop. This tool allows you to connect to your Analytics account and see graphically when an algorithm update has occurred. It has all the algorithm changes that have occurred since 2012 and you might even be able to see ones that we are not covering today. The only downside is that we have to have access to Analytics to be able to use it. If you are advising or analyzing a site that you do algeria telegram lead have access to, then this will not help you.
With the Sistrix tool and its visibility index, you can also see drops in traffic estimates and algorithms. One advantage over the previous one is that you don't need access to Google Analytics and you can therefore analyse an external company. The disadvantage is that the tool is paid. Although we recommend that you try it for 15 days for free because it is one of our favourites and one of the ones we use the most in our in-person SEO course and also in its online version .

Twitter CardsHow to get out of a Panda penalty
As we have seen, Panda penalizes several unethical tactics. We will discuss each one separately and explain in an easy way how to fix it.

When you have content from others
note_editOne of the worst things you can do with your website is copy content from somewhere else. And not because of copyright (which is also true) but because Google is very clever. This problem is faced mainly by online stores, which have had enough of copying product sheets from manufacturers or suppliers.

The solution is simple, although it will sometimes take time. Remember that SEO requires a lot of patience and good work. If this is happening to you, you have to redefine and redo all the texts on your website.

To find out what content is duplicate, there are several free tools that help you analyze it. Copyscape is very simple. It quickly detects how much duplicate content you have and where it comes from.

We only have to enter the URL of our page and if it finds content copied from other websites it marks them in a list. The hard part is that you would have to do it for each URL one by one. If the problem affects you a lot you can pay for the premium version of the tool that allows you to analyze many URLs at once. It works with a credit system, at a price of 5 cents for each URL you want to examine.

When you duplicate yourself
transferThe problem with original content is not only with other websites but also with your own. You have to be very careful not to repeat yourself on different URLs. We can have some of the same content, but it would be advisable for it not to exceed 20% of the text of the content. If you have many similar services or products, you will have to describe them differently.

You can use Siteliner.com to have the tool scan your site and tell you which URLs may be affected. The most problematic sites are online stores because they sometimes have a lot of the same products. You may need to have that content like that so you might consider no-indexing or canonicalizing some URLs to avoid the problem.

When you have content less than 300 words
Our friend Panda doesn't like small content. We have to try to generate quality content that makes users stay on our website for a reasonable amount of time. The solution in this case would be to provide rich and original content for texts that are less than 300 words. This problem also affects online stores (once again) as they have generated product sheets like churros.
