Google has once again taken a step forward. This time it has introduced the famous Google Maps Street View into homes and businesses.
The concept is simple: if you can use Google Maps to navigate the streets of a city and view the surroundings, why not do so inside a home or business? The launch of Google 360º Business or Google Business Photos was announced in September 2012 but is now starting to become a reality in countries such as the United States.
Google wants the product to be of the highest possible quality, so it only allows photographers or agencies certified by Google to perform this task. Obviously, these photographers require special equipment: fisheye lenses and rotating camera turrets, which Google then processes to generate the 360º panoramic photographs and their coupling.
