The announced US expansion plans will deliver state-of-the-art data centers with a target capacity of 2,000MW over the next four years. EDGNEX announced an initial investment of 20 billion, with the potential to double the investment based on future demand, market opportunities and scalability. This effort is consistent with EDGNEX’s commitment to building a world-class digital infrastructure platform that fosters innovation and provides sustainable, high-quality infrastructure to support U. and global customers, targeting hyperscalers, AI players, and Fortune 500 companies alike. The EDGNEX expansion will focus on the Sun Belt states, specifically Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma and Louisiana, as well as the Midwestern states of Ohio, Illinois, Michigan and Indiana.

The first phase includes building capacity through joint ventures with partners, acquiring land reserves in conjunction with utility companies, and acquiring existing data centers and platforms. These would represent approximately 500MW of capacity, one in the Sun Belt and the other in the Midwest. This will meet the current growing demand as EDGNEX continues to expand.
