The greatest attention must therefore be paid, well beyond compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to the data collected, who collects it, the conditions of its storage, the uses made of it and the security of the whole . As we know, the question of ethics is most often raised when digital services already exist, whereas it should be raised from their design.

Technologies are therefore desirable or possible, for band database educational reasons but also for economic, environmental and ethical reasons . These are four constraints that we must integrate into our policies. The primary objectives of school should guide us: reducing social inequalities and educating emancipated citizens. It is therefore less a question of thinking about the uses of digital technologies in school than of rethinking school in the digital age.
