How PatientPop used Google Posts to increase bookings by 11%
Mary: So, Joel, Google offers a formal booking feature within their own product, but it’s not always easy to participate in the program, and it keeps users inside “ Google’s walled garden ” rather than guiding them to brand-controlled assets. As I recently learned, PatientPop innovated almost immediately when Google Posts was introduced in 2017. Can you summarize for me what your company has in place as a booking vehicle for your users that wasn’t dependent on Google’s booking program?
Joel:PatientPop wants to give patients the opportunity to book appointments directly with their healthcare provider. As such, we are a white-label service. Since we can't get unique CTAs to reserve with Google, we felt that Google Posts could be a great vehicle for us to achieve essentially the same result.
