How Businesses Can Optimize and Secure Mobile Experiences on Public Networks

Post by relemedf5w023 »

Mobile Operations Intelligence (MOS) platforms enable IT to turn employee devices into sensors that report on device data status, data usage, and network performance. This information can be used to maximize throughput, mitigate security threats, and manage mobile costs.

In the era of the mobile enterprise, hacking an employee’s corporate mobile device on a public network can give hackers access to company data. Most enterprises have policies in place to combat attacks. But these policies are less effective without visibility into the networks that employees are accessing using corporate devices. This lack of visibility creates blind spots that leave corporate data vulnerable.

Based on information provided by MOS specialist NetMotion, eWeek has identified the challenges facing the mobile enterprise and how they can be addressed.

1. Unlike corporate networks, public cellular and Wi - Fi kuwait whatsapp data are not controlled by enterprises. IT departments do not have the data to identify the sources of network performance problems behind the firewall. There, enterprises cannot adequately protect employees from threats or limit their risky behavior.

2. IT departments can only use trial and error to resolve off-network issues on behalf of their employees. This ties up IT resources and cuts off employees’ network access, leaving them often dissatisfied with their IT service. 63% of businesses are not confident in their ability to monitor employee mobile devices outside the corporate network.
