Setting up automatic login using netplwiz

Step 4: Double click AutoAdminLogon and set the value to 1, then click OK .



Step 5: Find DefaultUserNamethe entry. If it is not there, create it as you did with AutoAdminLogon. Double-click it and enter your user name in the Value field , then click OK .



Step 6: Find or create DefaultPasswordan entry. Double-click it and enter the account password in the Value data field . Click OK to save the changes.



Step 7: Close the registry editor and restart your computer. After nigeria telegram data the restart, Windows 11 should automatically sign you into your account without asking for a password.

To disable automatic login, go back to the registry editor, change AutoAdminLogonthe value to 0 , and delete DefaultPasswordthe entry.

The command netplwizprovides access to advanced user account settings, allowing you to enable automatic login.

Step 1: Click Windows Key+ Rto open the Run dialog box. Type netplwizand click Enter.



Step 2: In the User Accounts window, uncheck the box next to Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer and click Apply .



Step 3: The Automatic Login dialog box will appear . Enter your username and password, then click OK .



Step 4: Click OK again to close the User Accounts window.

If the " To use this computer, users must enter a user name and password" setting is missing, you can restore it using Registry Editor.

Step 5: Open Registry Editor as described in the previous method.

Step 6: Go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\PasswordLess\Device


Step 7: On the right pane, double click DevicePasswordLessBuildVersionand set the value data to 0. Click OK to save.



Step 8: Close the Registry Editor and reopen netplwizthe window. The missing option should now be visible.

You can set up automatic sign-in through the Windows 11 Settings app by changing sign-in options.
