Go to the section "Appearance" - "Starter Templates". First, you will be asked to choose a page builder, with which you will then work with the site. Select Elementor.

After that, the template library will open. These are examples of ready-made sites that are made on the Astra theme and that can be installed on your site.

Some templates have an Agency icon in the upper right corner. This macedonia email list means that the template is only available in the paid version of the theme — Astra PRO. The paid version of the theme has more features, you can change anything at all. But the free version also has enough tools to create a decent online store on the WordPress engine.

At the top of the screen, to the left of the search, set the switch to "Free" so that only free templates are displayed on the screen. As you can see, there are plenty of options among the free ones.

Click on any template to take a closer look. In the lower left corner of the next page there will be a "Preview" button, which when clicked will open the site full screen in a new tab.

For this tutorial, you will need the "Brandstore" template. Find it by name and open it, then click the "Import Complete Site" button in the lower right corner to install the template on our site.

A pop-up window will appear asking you to select what exactly you want to import: settings, widgets, plugins, and content. Leave the checkboxes as they are by default and click “Import.”

The import may take between two and ten minutes. Do not close the tab during this time. Once the process is complete, a message will appear saying "Imported Successfully!" and a button "View Site" will appear so you can immediately take a look at your site.

After importing, everything is ready to create an online store on WordPress. Let's start with product management, and then move on to the appearance of the site.

If an error occurs during import
Sometimes the import is interrupted by an error with the text "Your website is facing a temporary issue in connecting the template server. Read the article to resolve the issue and continue importing template."

Most often, this happens due to PHP settings on the hosting. Try increasing the max_execution_time parameter value - personally or with the help of the provider's support.
