Ecommerce and AdWords: How to Automate Search Ads

Post by shaownhasan »

Unleash the power of the Google AdWords search network with dynamic ads
Have you ever thought about how you can massively publish e-commerce product ads on the Google AdWords search network?

This is the question I asked myself a few months ago when, for obvious reasons, I needed to promote a catalog with thousands of products, also using the search network (as well as Google Shopping).

To be clear, the campaigns that run on the Google search network are those composed of 'text' ads. Those of Google Shopping, on the other hand, are those characterized by ads with an image, title and price of the product, along with the the benefit of using our student database name of the merchant . The interesting thing is that the system allows you to publish ads simultaneously both in the spaces dedicated to the search network and in those dedicated to Google Shopping.

The idea was to find a way to manage product ads on the search network with a logic similar to that of Google Shopping. In particular, the goal I wanted to achieve was to publish ads automatically, starting from a product feed. In addition, I wanted these ads to activate and deactivate based on the availability of the products in the catalog.

Also, since I'm a sucker for segmenting campaigns in Google Shopping , I wanted to be able to reflect the same criteria in my search campaigns as well.
