The State Duma is considering a draft federal law "On Amendments to Federal Law No. 212657-8 "On the Use of Cash Register Equipment in Making Settlements in the Russian Federation". "There are cases in which information on the sale of marked goods is transferred to the marking information system only in terms of the product code - type of goods - without specifying individual codes. Thus, in accordance with Part 5 of Article 201 of Law No. 381-FZ, participants in the circulation of goods subject to mandatory marking with identification means are required to transfer information on the circulation of goods subject to mandatory marking with identification means, in accordance with the rules established by the Government of the Russian Federation, to the marking information system. According to Part 10 of Article 8 of Law No. 381-F3, economic entities that violate the rules for marking goods with identification means or fail to fulfill the obligation to transfer information to the marking information system are liable in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, with the exception of cases provided for in Part 91 of Article 8 of Law No. E81-FZ.
