The principle of this technology is quite simple. When a new article appears on a web resource, the main publication data is automatically pulled into the RSS file using a special script. It looks something like this:

How does an RSS news feed work?

Then the information is read by programs — RSS readers (aggregators). As you can see, the question of how RSS feed works is not particularly complicated.

The user needs to install an application on their device greece email list that will notify them of new material. The most popular ones are:

The Old Reader;
Feeder;
Inoreader;
Newsflow and others.
A person sets the frequency of receiving notifications independently.

The convenience of this method of getting acquainted with new products is obvious: there is no need to go through the tabs of different sites, blogs, channels. All the content of interest to the user is concentrated in one place, and a person can view it in chronological order.

RSS file content
This file consists of the following structural elements:

metadata (headings, subheadings, publication date, content description);
hyperlinks to the resource where the full text of the publication, podcast or video is located;
the names of the subject category. It is on the basis of the subject that files are grouped and offered to users.
All this data is divided into categories using XML tags.
