How to View Conversion Data in Google Ads

Post by rifathasan »

To check how many conversions your campaigns have generated, you can look at the Conversions and All Conversions columns in your reports. The Conversions column includes all conversions that have Include in Conversions set to Yes. In other words, this is the number of conversions that were recorded because a user interacted with one of your ads and converted on your site. The All Conversions columns include ALL conversions, even if Include in Conversions is set to No. Click on the SEGMENT option, select CONVERSIONS, and choose one of the available options to view more detailed data about your conversions.

Two important steps to take before starting any Google Ads campaign are setting up conversions in Google Ads and adding the conversion tracking code to your site. Without conversion tracking enabled, you won’t be able to measure or optimize your campaigns. The first step is to create conversions to track the important truemoney database actions you want users to take after clicking on your ad. The most common types of conversions are calling your business, making a sale, and signing up for your email list. The second step is to add the tracking code to your site. This involves two parts. The first part is adding the code to all pages of your site.

If you have Google Analytics installed, you can customize the Analytics code to include the Google Ads code without having to add a separate script to your site. The second part is adding the custom code to your thank you pages. For conversions that have the same value, simply copy/paste the code provided by Google Ads into the header of the page. For conversions where the cost varies (such as selling different products through a Woocommerce site), you need to make simple changes to the code to “pass” the purchase cost to Google Ads. This is a bit tricky, and if you don’t know how to edit your site files , it’s best to delegate this task to a developer. Once you’ve installed the code, the next step is to check that everything is working fine by visiting the conversion report in Google Ads or via the Google Tag Assistant. Finally, you can view conversion data by adding the Conversions and All Conversions columns to your Google Ads reports.
