Google is reducing visibility and then saying

Post by samiaseo222 »

On the other side of the spectrum are those who are more skeptical of automation. Some feel that Google often portrays automation as something that benefits users ("To help you get more out of the platform"), when in reality, automation often allows these companies to make more money.

In my opinion, Google is reducing visibility and then saying, "marketing on our platform is very hard... leave it to us and we'll get you better results." Those who have been in the industry long germany phone number data enough know that Google and Meta are all about revenue . If an advertiser doesn't know exactly how their money is being spent, or if they lack controls that really refine how that money is being spent, they will inevitably spend more money.

The counterargument, however, is that "wouldn't new advertisers spend more if everything was less automated and more complex?" The answer is both yes and no. Yes, new advertisers would try and fail, spending money along the way. But with automation, it's never been easier to spend more money, generate some form of return, and continue using the platform.

So it’s not that users are just throwing money away now; the argument is that they have less control over spending it exactly as they intend. So the platforms themselves are still efficient, but how much money is being spent efficiently and how precisely is less clear than ever.
