Regain control of your digital identity thanks to blockchain

With social distancing measures, transactions are becoming more digital every day. The importance of securing our digital identity is all the more important.

Digital identities are stored and managed electronically in databases specific to each provider. The desire to give the user control over their identification data is becoming increasingly evident.

The European Commission has launched an initiative nurse database on this subject called " Self-sovereign identity" whose objective is to entrust the user with the management of his digital identity. The SSI is based on a "Decentralized Identifier": a URL with its own syntax rules, relating to a subject with a Decentralized Identification Document (DID Document).

All this technology is based on a DPKI (Decentralized Public Key Infrastructure) without centralized authority.
