BeyondTrust experts have mapped out the cybersecurity landscape for 2023, identifying the threats and attacks most likely to impact organizations around the world in the new year. Key cybersecurity trends include the rise of ransomware, cyber uninsurable, cloud cloaking, and more.
BeyondTrust , a leader in intelligent identity and access security, today released its annual forecast of emerging cybersecurity trends for the new year and beyond. The forecasts, by BeyondTrust experts Morey J. Haber, Chief Security Officer, and Brian Chappell, Chief Security Strategist, EMEA/APAC, are based on technological shifts, threat actor habits, culture, and decades of combined experience.
Prediction N. 1: Negative, zero and positive confidence
Over the next year, products are effectively “zero trust-ready,” expected to satisfy everyone and taiwan rcs data support the seven tenants of the NIST 800-207 model and the architecture referenced by NIST 1800-35b .
Zero Trust product vendors will create marketing messages that may include positive and/or negative intent (perhaps not using these simple words on the zero number). Some positive zero trust will provide authentication and behavioral monitoring, while others will operate using a closed security model to indicate what should happen when a negative zero trust event occurs.
