In 2019, the research center of the communications agency Arebo carried out a study with 1,200 Brazilian businesspeople on corporate telephony in Brazil, and concluded that a large portion of businesspeople still did not clearly understand what cloud telephony is.
After being introduced to the features and potential of digital germany business mailing listtelephony, 96.5% of the businesspeople interviewed considered exchanging conventional telephony for cloud telephony.
ThoughtWorks, a global software consultancy, conducted a survey completed in 2021, in 969 companies from 12 countries, including Brazil, in which it interviewed CEOs, CTOs and CIOs. The survey found that companies engaged in new technologies, especially cloud telephony, have greater chances of growth in the market, especially in the pandemic scenario we are facing.
The aforementioned research, called Proficiency in technology – the new imperative for business growth, leadership and agility, found that Brazilian companies that have adopted digital culture in recent years and continue to invest in this technology have excellent prospects, with 82% of them, four out of five, indicating growth in the coming months. The probability of business growth for companies that admitted to being at an absolute level compared to their competitors, on the other hand, is reduced to 50%.

In addition to the considerable growth of digital telephony in recent years, the COVID-19 pandemic has encouraged entrepreneurs to take an interest in digital culture. Research shows that they are now more accepting of this technology and agree that it is more likely to expand their businesses, improve customer service and boost profitability.
Regarding home office, the consultancy KPMG carried out a survey with Brazilian businesspeople who already use cloud telephony, and presented the following data: 33.8% of the businesspeople interviewed foresee a return to in-person work only in 2022, however, 50% of them state that only 30% of the total team will work in person, and 87.3% of all interviewees will maintain the hybrid telephony system.
The survey conducted by KPMG shows how easily companies have adapted to this technology and that they intend to continue using the resources of cloud telephony. In the business environment, digital telephony is widely associated with business confidence and long-term goals, as it optimizes planning and strategies.
