Pinterest offers three categories of advertising campaign objectives: creating brand awareness, attracting interest, and getting conversions.

In the first category, you can choose between “Brand Awareness” (CPM) and “Video Views” (CPV). These are how Pinners discover your company, products, or services.

The second category includes the “Traffic” option (billed in the CPC model), which allows you to increase the number of visits to your website.

Once a Pinner clicks on it, they are automatically taken to your website. This is different from organic Rich Pins, which require a user to double-click to be redirected to your website.

If they save your promoted Pin to the board, it will take the form of an organic Pin (the label indicating that it is an ad will disappear). Thanks to this, the material you prepared will gain a "second life" in the service's ecosystem.
